Daniel Barták composed the music for the film "CRUEL INFIDELITY" (Krutá nevěra), which is part of the triptych "Aliens and Hunters" by screenwriter Josef Klíma. This film, directed by Filip Renč, introduces a new type of detective story focused on the psychological and criminal aspects of human relationships.

At the center of the story are the married couple Petr and Jana Roubal, played by Václav Jiráček and Tatiana Vilhelmová. Two years after their wedding, their idyllic life is disrupted by an envelope containing compromising photos of Petr during erotic games. Additionally, it includes transcripts of their love emails and text messages. Petr's confession and explanation that he was a victim of a group of people who enjoy disrupting others' relationships do not ease the situation.

Pregnant Jana, upon discovering the infidelity, suffers a psychological shock that leads to a miscarriage. At the moment when Jana shuts herself off from the world, nurse Věra Podlipná (Simona Stašová) and the mysterious Dr. Zahálka (Juraj Kukura) enter the story. Zahálka plans a cunning revenge, which also involves Markéta's husband, the wealthy businessman Daniel Tichý (Michal Dlouhý).

The film "Cruel Infidelity" exemplifies an innovative approach to the detective genre, and Daniel Barták's music is an integral part, enhancing the atmosphere of this psychological-criminal story and contributing to the tension.
