You might remember him from the TV show “Hvezdy u piana” (The Lyrics Board TV show), where he played the piano alongside dozens of famous Czech singers and co-hosted the show with Helena Vondrackova and Petr Vondracek.
He has collaborated musically with many well-known personalities and icons of the Czech show business, such as Josef Vojtek, Jiří Korn, Karel Gott, Vojtěch Dyk, Hana Zagorová, Jiřina Bohdalová, Monika Absolonová, Helena Vondráčková, Michal David, Aleš Háma, Tereza Mašková, and many others.
He has written several original musicals, such as “The Little Prince”, “The Canterville Ghost”, and the particularly popular musical "The Mefisto", which, in addition to the Hybernia Theater, has resonated in theaters worldwide, where it continues to enjoy success.
For many years, Daniel Bartak has been creating recordings and arranging music for theater productions and musicals, such as “The Baron Münchhausen” (Baron Prášil), “Romeo and Juliett”, “The Snow Queen”, "Casanova", and "Nunsense". He also creates musical arrangements and recordings for TV films and series, such as "Zdivocela zeme" and the popular TV series "Policie Modrava".
You may occasionally encounter him as a director, which he considers a hobby. Paradoxically, as a director, he already has several successful and well-known projects behind him.
